Water quality analyzer is an important instrument used to detect and analyze various characteristics of water bodies.

Its working principle is usually based on the comprehensive application of a series of physical, chemical and electronic technologies. Generally speaking, water quality analyzer first senses specific parameters in water samples through sensors. These sensors are specially designed for different water quality indicators, such as pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, turbidity, etc.
Taking pH sensor as an example, it usually contains an electrode sensitive to hydrogen ions. When the water sample contacts the electrode, the electrode will generate a corresponding electrical signal according to the concentration of hydrogen ions in the water sample.
Dissolved oxygen sensor uses the redox reaction of oxygen molecules on the surface of the electrode to generate a current or potential signal related to the dissolved oxygen content.
For other parameters, there are corresponding detection principles and mechanisms. These sensors transmit the detected signals to the electronic circuit inside the instrument for processing and amplification.
Then, the processed signal will be converted into the corresponding numerical value and output through the display or data interface. In this process, water quality analyzer usually adopts some algorithms and calibration procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measurement results.
Some water quality analyzers also use chemical analysis methods such as colorimetry. Colorimetry is based on the color change produced by the reaction of water samples with specific reagents, and uses an optical detection system to determine the content of relevant parameters.
