.The instrument must have a good grounding.

.After the power is turned on, press the "ON/OFF" button. If the display screen is not bright, check whether the voltage regulator is plugged in properly and whether the voltage regulator has a DC voltage output. Otherwise, there is a fault inside the instrument.

.The ion meter can be connected to a composite ion electrode, or an ion electrode and a reference electrode

.When the instrument is not in use, if the measuring electrode is not plugged in, the short-circuit plug must also be connected to avoid damage to the instrument due to an open circuit or moisture at the input end of the instrument

.The instrument can be used stably for a long time. After testing the sample, the electrode used should be immersed in distilled water.

.The fluoride ion electrode should be activated and soaked in deionized water for more than 2 hours before use. It can be used normally when the potential of the reference electrode in deionized water reaches more than 350mV.

.In conjunction with the relevant sodium fluoride standard solution and total ion strength regulator, an equivalent ion strength regulator must be added during table determination and measurement.

.Once the stirring speed is selected during measurement or calibration, do not change it at will. The stirring speed is generally selected at a medium speed, and no obvious water droplets splash.

.The reference electrode should often observe the liquid level of the saturated solution inside, and should be added in time, generally not less than one-half.
